what is cryotherapy

What is Localised Cryotherapy, and how does it work?

What can I expect during a Localised Cryotherapy session?
During the session, a controlled stream of cold air is applied directly to the treatment area for several minutes. The treatment is non-invasive, safe, and quick, with most sessions lasting about 10 - 20 minutes depending on the area.

What are the benefits of Localised Cryotherapy for injuries or sore muscles?
Localised cryotherapy can help reduce pain, swelling, and inflammation from injuries, aid in muscle recovery, and enhance healing in specific problem areas, making it ideal for athletes or anyone with sore or injured muscles.

How does a Cryotherapy Facial differ from traditional facials?
A Cryotherapy Facial uses cold temperatures to tighten and brighten the skin, reduce puffiness, and boost collagen production. You still get a hands-on facial treatment before the we do the Cryotherapy, involving a cleanse, tone, exfoliation followed by moisturiser and facial serum.

Is there any downtime after a Localised Cryotherapy or Cryo-facial treatment?
No, both treatments are non-invasive and require no downtime. You can go about your regular activities immediately afterward.

How many sessions are recommended for best results?
This depends on your goals and the condition being treated. Many people feel immediate relief, but ongoing benefits often require multiple sessions. There are plans of 3 and 5 sessions available to book here.
